Shannon Tyler, Resource Room Teacher

                                                              Welcome to My Page!
My name is Shannon Tyler and I am the Resource Room Teacher at Lincoln School. I have been with the Augusta School Department for eight years. Prior to that, I worked as an Early Childhood Educator and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at Children's Center in Augusta for ten years.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from The University of Maine at Farmington, which is an asset when working with my students. I have always had a passion for education, particularly in the area of special education. I teach reading, writing, and math to students in grades K-6. In my classroom we respect each other, learn from our mistakes, and we celebrate each other's success! I welcome any parent communication for those with questions or concerns.  I can be reached via email at or by calling the school at 626-2483 x3925.

I am looking forward to a fantastic school year!
