Cony Middle and High School was featured in the Maine Principals' Association's Positive Story of the Day:

Mrs. Megan Allen partnered with the district Technology Integrator Katelyn Rodriguez to support Mrs. Allen’s 7th grade classroom using AR/VR content to transform their understanding of the human body. They utilized the districts new Class VR equipment to view the skeletal, muscle, and nervous systems. Students were able to hold a human heart as well as simulate being a piece of pizza down the digestive track. Students were able to make observations and ask questions as  they developed a deeper understanding of these complex systems, going beyond the limitations of traditional teaching methods.
