
Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) off to a fabulous start this year! We painted the playground with fun colorful activities for recess. We can’t wait for our students to see and enjoy!

Updated bus routes for all schools are now posted on our website, augustaschools.org. You can also access the bus routes on our mobile app under “Documents.” There were changes this year, so please check and make sure students are at the correct stop. Any questions concerning bus routes should be directed to First Student at Tracey.Brown-Gysi@firststudentinc.com.

A BIG Thank You to the organizers and volunteers of the Greater Augusta Back to School Event at the Civic Center! This is such an amazing event for our families! They even donated backpacks for us to bring back to school for our students who were unable to come today. These will be available at our Sept 3 Open House.

The Augusta School Department is seeking substitutes for the 2024-2025 school year. We are hiring substitute teachers, educational technicians, nurses, school secretaries, custodians, and food service workers. We are also pleased to announce a new pay scale effective 7/1/2024. Important dates for May


We celebrate our teachers and staff this week - May 6-10! Our PTC has some super surprises planned. You can join by helping us to "Fill the Fridge" with drinks, fruit, sweets or snacks throughout the week. Notes or other gestures for individual staff are always appreciated as well.

Student drop off is between 10- 10:30 am this morning. Staff is not available for supervision earlier. Bus pickups will be two hours later.


As a result of the storm: Cony MS/HS, Lincoln Elementary, Farrington Elementary, and Gilbert Elementary will have a TWO hour delay. Hussey Elementary will have no school (due to power outages).
