Kindergarten Turkey Trot

Kindergarten students participated in various activities as they rotated through each of the classrooms for their annual Turkey Trot.   The fun activities had students working on fine motor skills (cutting, pasting, and coloring), while they learned some fun facts about the upcoming holiday.  In one room, students learned about why corn was so important to Native Americans and created Flint Corn.  In another room, students did some popcorn science, as they made predictions and analyzed the tasty treat.  The last room was a focus on arts and crafts, as students made their Turkey hats!
