Thank you to Maine composer and retired music educator Terry White for working with the Cony High School Symphonic Band this morning! It was an incredible opportunity to work with a clinician who has worked across the north east and prepare for their upcoming concert on December 17th!
German teacher Deb Backman hosted the Goethe-Institut today at Cony. We were visited by the team because Cony is designated as a Pasch school. We are one of 14 schools in the United States with this prestigious distinction. Supt Tracy and Principal Liscomb met with the team as well.
Our Cony Teen Health Board made an informational presentation to the Augusta School Board tonight! The Teen Health Board is part of the School Based Health Center grant that Cony received. Go Rams!

• Each day students will have the opportunity to guess items that DID NOT happen given a riddle (or 2) for the day.
• The last day, students will guess the 3 things that DID happen - who, where, and with what object!
• Students will only have 1 GUESS PER DAY!

Suri Ramkissoon and Arlo Shargo accompanied Frau Backman to Estes Park, Colorado over the long weekend in order to participate in the PASCH academic triathlon/German immersion camp. Throughout the weekend, they competed in various challenges with other students from 12 designated PASCH schools from across the country. Students were fully immersed in both the German language and the surrounding nature of the YMCA of the Rockies.
