Future Leader Alert! 🎉
Huge congratulations to Lilah Goldey and Blake Johnson on being selected for the highly competitive William S. Cohen Institute Emerging Leaders Summer High School Program at the University of Maine! 🌟
We are incredibly proud of Lilah and Blake for earning a spot in this immersive, statewide program. The Emerging Leaders Summer High School Program, sponsored in part through a recent community grant investment from Amazon, gathers rising high school seniors from every county in Maine to dive deep into leadership theory and practice. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop skills for careers in public service and beyond.
Participants like Lilah and Blake are nominated by their high schools and attend tuition-free, engaging with prominent leaders and building a network of peers dedicated to making a difference.
This is a testament to Lilah and Blake's hard work, dedication, and leadership potential. We know they will represent Cony Middle and High School with distinction and make the most of this amazing experience!

Matteo Hardy was honored for winning the Youth Award from the Maine Children's Alliance as part of their 2024 Giraffe Awards. Congratulations, Matteo.

Today was such a heart filling day. JMG put on the Special Olympic Young Athlete festival. Smiles, laughter and lots of sunshine. To see these students step out of their comfort zone and step into leadership rolls was amazing. Great day to be a Ram. So proud of our school!

Cony MS students did a great job singing at the ACDA State Festival on Saturday.
