Cony High School is proud to be hosting the MMEA District 3 honors festival this weekend! We are proud to be supporting the arts in our school and offering this opportunity to more than 200 students from Freeport to Augusta and Monmouth to Camden!

Our JMG students were invited to participate in a powerful co-design session focused on what it truly takes to become an entrepreneur.
Students worked side-by-side with leaders from the business world, sharing ideas, asking thoughtful questions, and offering a valuable student perspective. We are so proud of the insight, confidence, and creativity our students brought to the table and grateful for the opportunity to connect learning with real-world experience.

Our Girls and Boys Basketball teams honored their favorite teachers/staff last night at the basketball game! Go Rams!

As a result of the storm, all Augusta schools will have a two hour delay today, January 27, 2026. Additionally, Gilbert’s AM Pre-K has been cancelled. The CATC AM session will be Cony students only and the PM session is as regularly scheduled.
Due to the incoming storm, all Augusta schools and administrative offices will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026. This will be a traditional snow day, not a remote learning day.
Sometimes we are able to take learning outside the classroom and into the real world; at other times, when that isn’t possible, we bring the real world into the classroom. Recently, Cony students in the German program were able to experience both. Our German 5 students traveled to Boston, where they toured the Goethe-Institut and enjoyed a meal at a traditional German restaurant. Meanwhile, German 1 students connected virtually with their peers in Germany, giving them the opportunity to practice the language skills they have been developing throughout the semester.
